I was diagnosed with ADHD in my early 20s. As a shy, scattered little girl who masked all the time, I didn’t fit the stereotypical “hyperactive” mold, so I flew under the radar. That said, I’ve spent my entire life trying to find solutions. Over the years, medication has helped me manage things, but my Reiki session with Ale brought a sense of calm I didn’t realize I was missing.

During the session, I felt grounded. My nervous system felt regulated, which doesn’t come easily to me usually. What surprised me most, though, was how I felt later that night. My mind was quiet in a way that usually I only experience with medication. It caught me off guard at first, but then all I felt was relief.
